THIS INDENTURE, made 23nd[sic] day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and One.

BETWEEN James McReynolds of Sebastopol Sonoma County, California, the party of the first part and Owen McChristian, F. A. Lasell and Alexander Ragle, Trustees of Spring Hill School District, Sonoma county California and their successors in office the parties of the second part.

WITNESSETH: That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Dollars, Gold coin of the United States of America, to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained and sold, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents does grant, bargain and sell, convey and confirm unto the said parties of the second part, and to their successors in office and assigns forever, all that certain lot, place or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Township of Analy, County of Sonoma, State of California, and bounded and particularly described as follows, to-wit:

Beginning at the North West corner of the tract of land known as the Purvine tract; running thence Northerly 160 feet along the land of Mrs. S. W. McReynolds, thence Easterly along the line of Spring Hill Cemetery 164 feet thence Southerly along lands of James McReynolds, about 159 foot to the North Line of the land recently purchased by Spring Hill School District from Charles and William Hotle, thence Westerly along the said line 164 foot to point of beginning.

TOGETHER With all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances therein belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, reminder and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular the said premises, together with the appurtenances, onto the said parcel of the second part, and to their successors in office and assigns forever.
