Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery,
It was a beautiful day at the cemetery yesterday. Eight of us gathered at the cemetery under mild, sunny skies - and found WEEDS. The record rainfall of the winter brought more growth than I have ever seen. We spent our time taming the chaos, pulling and beating down weeds, and filling the dump truck. Our efforts prevailed, and we left the cemetery in great shape. I want to thank Regional Parks for once again providing us with tools and dump truck, and all the volunteers that joined me for their hard work.
I am hoping, pending Regional Park approval, to have the next workday on Friday, August 18th. Please, mark your calendars and come join us!
