Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery,
I was thrilled to get back to the cemetery. Today was a glorious day at Spring Hill. Eight of us gathered in our masks under sunny skies. Due to the corona virus, this was only our second workday of 2020 - the other workday way back in February.
Many thanks to Regional Parks for bringing us dump trailer and tool trailer, and for wiping down all of our tools with bleach before our workday. And many thanks to those of you who joined in today.
Other than paths buried in leaves, the cemetery was in very good shape. We spent our time raking paths and hauling debris. This time of year the ground of the cemetery is much too hard to probe for monuments, but I am hoping that we can get back to discoveries at the next workday in November. Please mark your calendars for November 20th, and come and join us, if you can.
