Spring Hill Cemetery Work Days

by Susan Zeni

20 November 2020

Dear Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery,

Seven of us gathered on a lovely fall day for Spring Hill's final 2020 workday. It has been a tumultuous year with fires, choking smoke and pandemic. Through it all, Spring Hill remains serene and peaceful. We left the cemetery in great shape for winter weather.

Today's activities centered on path maintenance, and removing dead branches. The first real rain of the season occurred a couple of days ago, downing leaves and branches. We spent our time raking, hauling, and filling the truck, restoring the cemetery to its usual glory.

I want to thank all of you for your continuing support of the cemetery. Although I have yet to set up 2021 dates yet, I am hoping to resume our activities in February, as usual.

Wishing you all well this holiday season.

Best Regards,

Sue
