Spring Hill Cemetery Work Days

by Susan Zeni

22 November 2013

Dear Friends of Spring Hill Cemetery,

I am pressed for time, but wanted to send out a quick recap of Friday's workday. We had perfect conditions in which to work, with sunshine and cool temperatures. Jeremy kindly stepped in to be our Workday Leader on Friday, as I continue to be busy of late with family health issues. Regional Parks brought their usual, indispensable dump truck and tool trailer.

Seven sturdy volunteers gathered at the cemetery with the aim of clearing paths and getting the cemetery ready for winter. With recent strong gusty winds, most of the deciduous leaves had fallen, and we filled the dump truck easily. As you can see from the final picture, we left the cemetery with groomed paths and in good shape.
