C. W. Barnhardt being duly sworn support that at all dates and times hereinafter mentioned he was and is now a white male citizen of the United States of America residing in the City of Santa Rosa County and State aforesaid that he received the Summons in the above entitled action which Summons is hereto attached on the 5th day of September 1889 and that he duly served the same on the defendant therein named to wit: John Fulkerson at the City of Santa Rosa in the said County of Sonoma State of California on the 10th day of September 1889 by then and there delivering a true copy of the annexed summons together with a true copy of the Complaint filed herein attached thereto personally to John Fulkerson the defendant in said Summons named that he has no interest in this action whatever in the result thereof that he is competent ? on the time of this cause.
