2. Proof of Service for Widow.
  Statement by John Shearer dated 7 July 1911, that he had known W. H. Holland ten years, that he was a Confederate soldier belonging to Company E. 56 Regiment of Northampton C. NC.
That as such soldier he served from First to the Surrender...
 
3. Letter from B. F. Dixon, Auditor, Department of the State Auditor, Raleigh, NC, to Mrs. J. W. Neely [Daisy Holland], McCrory, Ark., May 7, 1910.
  Dear Madame:--
Referring to your favor of May 2nd, I beg to say that William Henry Holland enlisted in Company E, 56th Regiment, N. C. Troops, C. S. A., May 3rd, 1862, from Northampton County, N. C., and served faithfully until the close of the war.
 

4. Widow's Application for Pension.

  Filled out by Sarah Holland (signed by "her mark"), on 7 July 1911. States that she is the widow of William Henry Holland and that he died Aug 7th 1895.

6. Questionnaire -- To supplement pension application on file in the Auditor's office.
  Filled out 18 Feb 1932, and signed(! had signed with "her mark" on other documents) "Mrs. Sarah E. Holland."
States she was born 2 May 1854 in Montgomery County, NC.
That she married W. H. Holland on 16 August, 1874 in Woodruff Co., AR.
That she presently lives in McCrory with an unmarried daughter, and her "small home" is worth $600.
That she has lived in Arkansas for the past 62 years.
 
7. Certificate of County Clerk (Of Pension Due Estate of Deceased Pensioner).
  Filled out by R. C. Chappell, Clerk of the Woodruff County Court, 23 March, 1937, and states that Mrs. S. E. Holland died 15 Feb 1937. That she had made G. W. Barber the administrator of her estate in July, 1936.  
8. Affidavit to Claim Against Estate, 23 March 1937.
  Walter H. Raney claims $50.00 from her estate.
