Notes:

From the History and Genealogy of the Bieber, Beaver, Biever, Beeber Family, by the Reverend Irvin M. Beaver (Reading, Pennsylvania; 1939), page 526-527:

John Beaver is named in deed on file in Woodstock, Va., as the heir of Conrad Beaver. In 1785 he is named in the Virginia census of Shenandoah Co., and one child. Official Records, Woodstock, Va., Deed Book B, p. 441. Deed Book II, p. 276, Deed Book I, p. 449. Deed Book D, p. 274. A deed made Aug. 31, 1783, by John Beaver as the eldest son and heir of Conrad Beaver (deceased) to Michael Beaver, brother of John, for 210 acres of land on Pass Run (now in Page Co.), consideration 110 pounds Va. money. This was part of a tract of 410 acres bought by Conrad from Edward Humston, who has taken it up from Fairfax, April 10, 1766. Date of deed not given, but probably before the formation of Shenandoah Co. in 1772 and is probably recorded in Frederick Co.

Deed Book D, p. 278. A deed made conveying 180 acres of the same land tract to Abraham Beaver from John (Conrad's heir), consideration 50 pounds Va. money. These deeds were recorded at the same time.

The Virginia Census Records for 1785, Shenandoah Co.:

Abraham Beever, 2 persons.

Christian Beever, 3 persons.

Conrad Beever, 1 person.

Michael Beaver, 3 persons.

John Beever, 3 persons.

David Beaver was too young for this census, as he was born in 1769. No further record of the above John Beaver, Sr.

At Wookstock, Shenandoah Co., Va., a marriage record reads: "John Beaver and Catherine Lear, March 21, 1786. Page 19--- ibid."

If this marriage record refers to the above John Beaver, then this was his second wife. The above John Beaver not traced.

John transferred a 180 acre portion of the land which he received from his father to his brother Abraham. From Shenandoah County Deeds, 1772-1784 , compiled by Amelia C. Gilreath, (Oct 1987), p. 185-186:

Book D [1782-1784]...
