  My father Jacob Raphaël was born in 1879...
The Faneuf boys were some what noisy and extraverted, and Grandpa Maddock disapproved. Charles, Ernest and Raphaël, now Ralph, took off at separate times for Hawaii, then a wild, adventurous trip...
My father married Alice O'Connor - half Irish and half French - I was the only child. They were divorced when I was 6, and he then married Clara Keyes, and after about 12 years, divorced her and married some woman in Los Angeles... He divorced her, and about 1935 married a nurse, Alice Bruse[?]. They separated after a while, but were reunited about 1946 - he died the following year...
