Will for Walter ANDERSON

King George County, Virginia Will Book 1, page 93-94:

  In the Name of God Amen. I Walter Anderson of King George County, in the Parish of Hanover Parish being very sick and weak of body, but of sound and perfect memory and calling to remembrance the uncertainty of this life do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament and form following:
ITEM: I give to my daughter Ann Anderson all that tract of land containing three hundred ninety and five acres in Prince William County whereon John Bowling now lives to her and her heirs forever, the Quit rents of said land to be paide out of my Estate until she arrives at age of 21.
ITEM: I give to my daughter Hannah Anderson one half of that tract of land in Prince William County containing eight hundred acres lying on Carter's Run to be laid off at the lower end of the said tract to her and her heirs forever, the Quit rents of the land to be paid out of my estate until she arrives at the age of twenty one years.
ITEM: I give the other half of the aforesaid eight hundred and eighteen acres of land to be equally divided between my son Cyprian Anderson and my daughter Mary Anderson to them and their heirs forever, likewise the Quit rents of the said land to be paid out of my estate until they reach the age of twenty one years.
ITEM: I give to my daughter Mary Anderson that had of tobacco which is due from Alexander Snelling for this year's rent to supply her with cloths and I likewise desire that Mrs. Evans be paid out of my estate for my said daughter's Mary's learning of her between my well beloved wife Mary Anderson and my two daughters Ann and Hannah Anderson to them and their heirs forever. Lastly, I do constitute and appoint Captain Samuel Skinner, Capt John Champe and Mr. Thomas Turner Executors and by beloved wife Mary Andersoon Executrix of this my last will and testament revoking and disannulling all former wills ratifying and confirming this to be my true and last will as witness my hand and seal this thirteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty two. Whereas my son Cyprian Anderson is apprentice to James Jones, I desire my good friend Captain Skinner to take care that he be well used and like wise kept to his trade.

I do hereby certife and confirm all the former demises above mentioned to be my will excepting forty pounds current money of Virginia to be levied out of my estate which said forty pounds to be paid the one half to my son Cyprian Anderson and the other half to my daughter Mary Anderson when they shall arrive at the age of twenty three. And it is my desire that my son Cyprian Anderson may have all my wearing clothes.

At a court held for King George County the 2nd March 1732 [1732/3] The last will and testament of Walter Anderson presented into Court by Mary Anderson his widow and executrix who made oath thereto and same was proved by the oaths of Joseph Berry and Thomas Leftwich and admitted to record.
