Notes:

Was a Corporal in Co. B, 52nd Reg., Ky. Mt. Inf. Vol. 7 Aug 1863 to 17 Jan 1865. Moved to Simpson Co., KY in 1869 and then to Lafayette Co., MO by 1874. He had 11 children. His daughter, Matilda Frances Blackburn (b. 1865 d. 1902) was the great grandmother to Jerry D. Lomshek, whose November 1982 letter to Jeanne Miller is the source of much of the Blackburn family information used here.
