Elijah Cusenberry was an early settler around Warren County, Kentucky and his name shows up early on the tax rolls. He had owned building lots in Scottsville and Polium, as well as a large amount of land and slaves through out his years. His son-in-law. Johnson J. Cockrill, administrated what was left of Elijah's land in the years right before and after his death.
