1890 census Analy Township shows
Morrill, (Ira?) Head -
[Morrill] Dorinda Wife
Phariss, William Stepson
[Phariss] Samuel Stepson
[Phariss] George Stepson

This means that my Alice was a Phariss... Did I mention that in the 1920 Crook Co., Oregon census it has Dorinda Morrill as mother-in-law to Lewis M. McReynolds... Alice had just married Lewis in 1879 so she was already out of the house during this census.

 

 

From her Descendants of Lewis Miller McReynolds (5 Apr 2003 email):

"Alice McReynolds-Percival lived to be over 100 and died in Oregon. A news article about her stated she lived on a small cattle ranch outside Ukiah."
