He went to Texas soon after the Civil War, settled in Washington Co. in 1865, where he lived for several years and while there he married Miss Ada Bowers. She d. within a year. Issue, infant daughter. He went to Williamson in 1870, m. second, Aug. 9, 1874, to Cynthia Arabella Brooks, of Georgetown, Tex. She was b. in Boone Co., Ark., Nov. 15, 1856; still living in 1938. Mr. Beaver was a retired farmer and rancher, d. in Georgetown, Tex., of heart attack of less than an hour's duration. Issue 9 children.
