Remarried after Robert McReynolds passed away.

Mary McAbee's Mother was Margaret Pitcher, she was Maude's grandmother. Maude's son was my grandfather, he married my grandmother and on my grandmothers line her G-G-grandfather was a William Pitcher. I have every indication Margaret and William were either brother and sister or first cousins (both born in KY).

The daughter of her brother, Wesley, narrated a very interesting history ("The Oral History of Delcena McAbee Rawles") about growing up in California beginning in the late 1850's. Unfortunately, there is only one slight mention in it of her cousin Mary, when they all went to a dance with Mary's first husband "McReynolds." Also from Valerie Longmire:

I have one more story written by Delcena's son "Sharkey Rawles" Also there is a book written about this somewhere. There was also another McAbee cousin named "Shirk" he wrote a book too.
