From the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, Wednesday, May 10, 1899:
  Claypool and Loughery  
  The above is the name of a new firm formed in this city Saturday between two of Santa Rosa's most engergetic young businessmen, S. B. Claypool and Frank Loughery. The new firm will conduct business at Mr. Claypool's old stand at 301 Mendocino Street, and will represent the leading tailoring establishments of the east and San Francisco. They will also represent the best shirt factory in the bay city, as well as doing a home business. Both gentlemen are well and favorably known, and that they will do a large business no one doubts.
