Enumerated as Isaac (a. 11, bp. IL) living with his father Jacob McReynolds in the 1850 Census for LaFayette County in Missouri.

Also listed as Isaac (a. 15, bp. IL) with his parents in the 1852 California Census for Sonoma County.

Isaac is listed in the 1860 Census as living with his parents in Analy. Has $200 in personal estate.

He is listed in Sonoma County Marriages 1847-1902 (Sonoma County Genealogical Society, Inc., Santa Rosa, CA: 1st Edition, March 1980), as Isaac MC REYNOLDS to Julia A BRADEN on 14 Nov 1864, (no place recorded), officiated by J Hunter, and recorded in Marriages Book B Page 78.

From McReynolds Family Westward Bound by Glenva Conklin (copied for me by Susan Zeni) pp. 45:

Isaac was born in Illinois, location unknown at this time. He moved to Missouri as a baby. In 1852 he crossed the plains with his family when he was 13 years old. He lived at home until he married Julia Braden (the author's grandmother). He was 26, whe was 16. They lived in Sebastapol and Petaluma where their three children were born. There are no records of Isaac buying property. After the death of his father they moved to Washington state. The 1880 census records list them living in Lewis County, Washington. Julia left Isaac, taking the children with her to The Dalles, Oregon, where in 1881 she married George Obarr. As far as we know, Isaac made no effort to see his children again. He is listed in the 1900 census as living in King County, Washington, with a partner, John Clarke. Isaac returned to Sonoma County, California, about 1899 for a visit and none of his family heard from him after that.
