Phoebe F. Harris, photo from Bert HarrisPhoebe F. Fulkerson: She and Jacob Harris were 2nd cousins, making Jacob both Richard's cousin and his son-in-law. They had two children born in Iowa. Great-grandmother of Elaine Z. Minney the daughter of Mrs. William R. Duncan. Mrs. William R. Duncan's brother is C. W. Harris. Phoebe had another daughter Mrs. Frederick Casani -- this according to the Press Democrat article from 1951.

Was a poetess and her poetry appears in newspaper articles about various Fulkerson family functions of her time. One of her poems is also on the wall of Richard and Sally's crypt. There is a published collection of her pieces: Poems, by Mrs. Phoebe Fulkerson Harris (Republican Press: Santa Rosa, California, 1900). The titles for the poems are: "Sea Flowers," "Greeting to Mr. And Mrs. S. T. Fulkerson on their Pearl Wedding Anniversary," "The Ruined Home on Fulkerson Summit," "Reflections on the Spanish-American War," "Camp on Higher Ground," "Our Dead Heroes," "Lines Accompanying a Bunch of Violets Sent on St. Valentine's Day," "A Tribute to Those Gone Before," "Autograph for a Friend's Album," "Ode to Mary," "A Christmas Greeting," "The Beauty of Nature," "To Hazel," "To Gracie," "Our Honored Dead," "On the Birthday of Spiritualism," "A Reverie," "To Claude," and "Golden Wedding."
