Notes:

Little known about him or his family. According to family stories, he was married three times and was accidently electrocuted in Stutgart, Arkansas.

Appears that he may have been something of a singer as a young man -- from the Woodruff County News (McCrory, G. W. Kramer, editor), November 23, 1901:
One night last week, the following named persons enjoyed a royal party at the pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs. Parker Llewellyn:The Misses Blanche Fakes, Ella Bishop, Lena and Lizzie Holland. The Messrs. Robert Lee, Ollie Holland, the two Mr. Eppesons and Benj. Watson. The party enjoyed the music immensely. The two Mr. Eppesons performed on the violin almost equal to grand old Correlli of by gone days. Miss Blanche Fakes is said to have made her guitar talk to the every changing moods of the crowd, and what Ollie Holland did with his instrument of sweet harmony was enough to be long remembered. Good music like a a good book has its effect upon the hearer. No one is the same individual he has been after hearing the seet and heavenly music of our masters. This party was royally entertained and all expressed themselves as being highly pleased with the social features of the evening.

In 1910 Census (ED. 137 page 5), McCrory Township, Seaman Street, dwelling 74 (his mother was living in dwelling 69), Ollie J. Holland, head of household, a. 28 bp. AR (both parents bp. NC), salesman at grocery store. Enumerated with wife, Lillie M., a. 27 bp AR (both parents bp. MO). Two daughters: Mable M., a. 13/12 bp AR, and Opial, a. 3/12 bp. AR. A Clifton L. Holland is also listed, (from another marriage? -- listed as "Msdu") a. 10 bp. OK (father bp. CA, mother bp. MO -- this indicates he might have been adopted by Ollie and was from a previous marriage of his wife).

Name appeared in the Index of Death Notices in The Arkansas Gazette, 1928 (from Pat Bodine). Burial listed in Cemetery Records of Arkansas County, Arkansas, for Lone Tree Cemetery, p. 196.

O. J. Holland's Obituary in Arkansas Democrat (Little Rock), No. 26, June 23, 1928, p. 10:
  Shock Fatal
To Electrician
Well Known Stuttgart
Man Killed on Stage
of Theater

  Arkadelphia, June 23 - (special) -
O. J. Holland, aged 42, electrician, was fatally shocked about 3 o'clock Friday afternoon, while at work on the stage of the Majestic theater here. Mr. Holland, who was well known in connection with his business and his ownership here of the Holland Electric Shop, came in contact with a high powered line while at work on the switch on the stage. Bernard Dieta discovered Mr. Holland slumped over the switch shortly after he was shocked
Attempts to revive him, which were carried on for a period of two hours, proved futile. Mr. Holland was as work helping to install a cooling system in the theater.
Mr. Holland is survived by his widow; by his mother, Mrs. S. E. Holland of McCrory, and by three sisters and two brothers.

No mention is made in his obituary about being survived by any children. Regardless, more work should be done here to discover if there were any other marriages (his name does not appear in the Woodruff County Marriage Index 1864 - 1967) and what happened to his children and widow.
