| Commonly known as Ellesif, though her name was said to be Ellese F. by William Aaron Cockrill. Her name is also listed as "Elisiph," "Ellisif," and "Ellisiffa." A member of the 1853 Hagans-Cockrill Wagon Train. The 1860 Census for Sonoma County lists her being born in "Plymouth" (!). Ellesif was said to be the first person to be buried in the Bloomfield Cemetery, however, her sister, Olivia, who died in 1856 was also buried there. Apparently, the sister had been first buried in the old Bloomfield schoolyard and then removed to new cemetery when it was created.
