Afton E. Wright, 60, of Magazine died Sunday at a Paris hospital. He was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Rethal; one son, Billy Allen of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Manard of Brinkley; Jimmy of Hot Springs, and Vadon of Fort Smith; five sister, Mrs. Bell Elkins of Magazine; Mrs. Izetta Erp of Lubbock, Texas; Mrs. Manie Barham of Danville, and Mrs. Carrie McCrary and Edna Mikles, both of Boonville, and two grandchildren.
Funeral service was Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Magazine First Methodist Church with the Rev. Miss Fern Cook and Rev. W. J. Spicer officiating. Burial was at Old Union Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home, Greenwood.
