In 1900 Census (ED. 107 sheet 12 page 49A), DeView Township, Woodruff Co., dwelling 191, head of house: Frank Wright, b. Sept 1856, a. 43, bp. NC (both parents' bp. NC), married 4 years, a farmer (can read and write), owns "free" (without mortgage) farm 149. Enumerated with wife, Sarah A., a. 22, bp. TN (both parents' bp. TN), married 4 years, has had 2 children and they both survive, can read and write. Children (all born in AR): John W., Feb 1882, a. 18, a farm laborer who can read and write; James E., Feb 1884, a. 16), a farm laborer who can read and write and also attended school for 4 months; Lydia, Aug 1885, a. 14, can read and write; Charley C., Feb 1887, a. 13, a farm laborer who can read and write and also attended school for 4 months;Wm. Coleman, Feb 1889, a. 11, a farm laborer (!) who can read and write and also attended school for 4 months; Celia M. (daughter), Jun 1891, a. 9, not listed as being able to read or write or going to school (as are the rest of the children in this record);Franklin E., Dec 1892, a. 7; Samuel L, Mar 1897, a. 3; and Joseph P, Feb 1899, a. 1.

In 1920 Census, DeView Township (ED. 243 page (2) 81), dwelling 77, head of house: Frank P. Wright, a. 63, bp. NC (both parents bp. NC), farmer, enumerated with wife, Sallie A. (42, bp. TN) and children: Fubie M. (14), Alvin E. (11), Henry T. (9), Ollie R. (6), and David R. (4).

A Chattel Mortgage existed between W. D. Wilson and F. P. Wright, filed 5 April 1919 in consideration of one dollar gives to F. P. 12 acres Cotton to be grown on my farm in Woodruff County, Ark. In 1919. W. D. Wilson is indebted to F. P. for a one hundred dollar note that is to draw 10% interest from 1 Nov 1919.

Death entered the home of the Wright family Sunday, September 11th. 1932, and called away Mr. Frank P. Wright. father of several Woodruff County residents and friend to the hundreds that knew him. Mr. Wright was born in North Carolina in 1856, and when quite young moved to Tennessee, later moving to Arkansas where he spent most of his life and where he married and reared his family of several children. Mr. Wright was married twice and to the first union six children were born, Messes, John, Galen, Lee and Coleman Wright and Mesdames, Lyda Davis and Celie Wilson. His second marriage was to Miss Sallie Daugherty, who survives him and to this union seven children were born, Messes, Jodie, Alvin, Henry and David Wright and Mesdames Birdie Davidson of Pine Bluff, Febie Bruske of Detroit, Michigan and Ollie Cain.
Mr. Wright had been ill at his home for the past four months suffering from chronic gastritis. The funeral was held at the home south of McCrory, the interment being made at Odd Fellow cemetery Monday, September 12th, the Rev W. E. Barnes of the Augusta Baptist Church in charge of the services.
